What’s Needed?
1) sharp knife
2) 1/2 lime per fish
Its not so hard or long to clean fish, it can be done in 4 simple steps!
Step 1: Scale the fish a little better. Sometimes the fisherman do a great job scaling but I like to make sure its scale free. Use a sharp knife and drag perpendicular to fish body in the opposite direction of the scales. Drag from tail to head. If you aren’t so confident in your scaling abilities you can use a butterknife or a fork.
Step 2: Clean out the guts with a butter knife making sure to get all the gills too.
Step 3: Use a lime and wash the inside of the fish out to make sure you have got all the guts out.
Step 4: Confirm its clean!
